APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) for the Rochester Laborers', Local 435, is accepting applications Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, during the recruitment period.

Applications must be completed in person, at Rochester Laborers Local #435 Training and Apprentice, Please call 585-546-8460 x116 for more information. No applications are not to leave the premises. 

The requirements of applicants:

• At least 18 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must attest they are physically able to do the work of a skilled laborer, which may include:
  • Consistently lifting, up to 50 lbs.
  • Working outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Working in an environment with strong odors and loud noises.
• Must pass a drug test at the expense of the sponsor, before enrollment.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States.
• Valid NY state driver's license
• Must have reliable transportation

Apprentices become journeymen once they have completed 300 classroom hours and 4000 work hours.
