Dues Structure

FOR 2024, DUES MUST BE PAID MONTHLY at $37.00 PER MONTH OR $8.00 PER MONTH FOR RETIREES.

DUES ARE DUE ON THE 1ST OF EVERY MONTH, YOU ARE STILL ABLE TO PAY QUARTERLY, OR YEARLY

Always check the previous year’s hours at the beginning of the year (Mid February) and ask for a new card to be sent if you cannot make it in. Remember: ANY HOURS WORKED IN ANOTHER LOCAL AREA CANNOT BE USED FOR CREDIT.

Example:

• 2024 gives you credit for 2025
• 2025 gives you credit for 2026
• 2027 gives you credit for 2027

ANY HOURS WORKED IN LOCAL 435’S AREA THIS YEAR WILL BE APPLIED TOWARDS DUES CREDIT FOR NEXT YEAR. Every 375 hours worked gives you 1 quarter dues credit and 1500 hours gives you what is needed for a full year’s dues credit. Keep paystubs in case of any discrepancies.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

You must keep your dues current to remain in good status. After being two (2) months behind you WILL, without notice be suspended. The back of your card should be stamped to let you know which month your dues are paid through. If you are paying dues or sending inquiries, please include a self-addressed envelope for your reply. If you move, be sure to contact the Union Office and the Welfare Funds Office in writing with your correct address.
