FOR 2018, DUES MUST BE PAID MONTHLY @$37.00 PER MONTH OR $8.00 FOR RETIREES.
YOU ARE STILL ABLE TO PAY QUARTERLY BUT YOU MUST PAY BY THE END OF THE FIRST MONTH IF YOU WISH TO DO SO.
- January dues must be paid by the end of March. April 1st is the suspension date.
- February dues must be paid by the end of April, May 1st is the suspension date.
Always check the previous year’s hours at the beginning of the year (Mid February) and ask for a new card to be sent if you cannot make it in. Remember: ANY HOURS WORKED IN ANOTHER LOCAL AREA CANNOT BE USED FOR CREDIT.
- 2013 gives you credit for 2014
- 2014 gives you credit for 2015
- 2015 gives you credit for 2016…
ANY HOURS WORKED IN LOCAL 435’S AREA THIS YEAR WILL BE APPLIED TOWARDS CREDIT FOR NEXT YEAR. Every 375 hours gives you 1 quarter dues credit and 1500 hours gives you what is needed for a full year’s dues credit. Keep paystubs in case of any discrepancies.
Remember, to remain a member of the Union in good standing, you must keep up your dues. If you become two (2) months behind you WILL, without notice be suspended. Always check your card. If you are paying dues or sending inquiries, please include a self-addressed envelope for your reply. If you move, be sure to contact the Union Office and the Welfare Funds Office in writing with your correct address.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There is a membership meeting on the 4th Wednesday of every month. The Labor News will announce all meetings. Watch for all news pertaining to Local #435. Come out to the meetings, ask questions and meet your Union representatives. Remember, THEY ARE HERE FOR YOU, GET TO KNOW THEM AND LET THEM GET TO KNOW YOU.
If you are laid off call the office at (585) 454-5800 and ask to be put on the Out Of Work List. You must update your name on the list every 14 days. After that your name is automatically removed from the list.
Also, check with the Training Office (585-546-8460) for any available classes or the Welfare Funds Office, (585-325-3906) for any medical or benefit information.
You can purchase the following items from your Local Union Hall: hats, t-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, jackets, movie tickets and car wash tickets.
