Laborers’ Local 435 Charity Foundation of Rochester, Inc.
Since first receiving our charter, on June 20, 1918, Laborers’ Local 435 in Rochester, New York, has had the privilege of representing thousands of hard-working men and women across 9 counties for over 100 years. On the shoulders of our skilled and dedicated members, we were able to collectively create, develop and maintain some of the largest construction projects built in the Rochester and surrounding areas.
As we celebrated our 100th year in June 2018 we look forward to the next 100 years in our commitment to excellence. Throughout our vast history, Local 435 has always had a commitment to its community. Whether we are organizing food drives or aiding under-privileged children, there is no doubt that giving back to our community is among our greatest accomplishments.
That is why Laborers’ Local 435 decided to establish a non-profit public charity organization; The Laborers Local 435 Foundation of Rochester Inc., effective April 27th, 2020. The decision to apply for public charity status was fueled by the desires of our officers to make an even greater difference in our community and further, to ensure that our fundraising efforts make a difference right here in Rochester, NY.
